WHEREAS, IMACK FERNANDEZ is recognized as being one who
unselfishly gives of himself so that his community may be a
better one in which to live; and
WHEREAS, TYLACK FERNANDEZ has earned the distinction of
being chosen "The Sportsman of the Year 1972," for the helping
hand he has given to countless individuals and clubs involved
in athletics on the Big Island,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it does hereby congratulate and commend
JMACK FEIU-jANDEZ for being selected by a distinguished panel of
judges as the "Sportsman of the Year" for 1972.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be instructed
to forward a true copy of this resolution to 1-17ACK FERNANDEZ.
