RESOLUTION APPROVING, ADOPTING AND RATIFYING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE CHIEF ENGINEER
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RELATING TO ItIMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 15 - WILDER
ROAD IMPROVEMENT," KAUMANA, DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, COUNTY OF HAWAII, UNDER THE
TERMS OF RESOLUTION NO. 54, ADOPTED APRIL 18, 1973, AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF ENGINEER
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO CALL FOR BIDS ON THE BASIS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, in accordance with law, the County Council of the County of Hawaii
by Resolution No. 54, adopted April 18, 1973, created, defined and established, .
"Improvement District No. 15 - Wilder Road Improvement", Kaumana, South Hilo, Hawaii,
and further defined the kind, extent and general details of the proposed improvements
and the materials to be used, and directed the Chief Engineer of the Department of
Public Works to prepare a corrected map of the improvement district showing the
general improvements therein to be improved, together with final plans, drawings,
details and specifications for the work, all in such form as will readily permit and
encourage genuine competition between contractors insofar as the materials specified
will permit of such competition; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with the directions of said Council and of said Resolu-
tion No. 54, adopted April 18, 1973~ the Chief Engineer of the Department of Public
Works has submitted to said Council his final report, including form of proposal,
form of contract, form of bond, corrected map, final details, plans and specifica-
tions for the work of improving the water system in said Improvement District No. 15,
said final report being dated April 23, 1973, and being in all respects in accordance
with the directions of Resolution No. 54, adopted April 18, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the report as aforesaid and the matters therein contained have now
been further and fully considered by this Council;
NOW, THER~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL in and for the County of
Hawaii:
I.
That said final report of the Chief Engineer of the Department of Public Works
relating to "Improvement District No. 15 - Wilder Road Improvement", Kaumana, South

Hilo, Hawaii, dated April 23, 1973, and including a corrected map of said improve-
ment district, plans, profiles, details, specifications, form of proposal and forms
of contract and bond be and the same is hereby approved, adopted and ratified as
presented and as now On file with the County Clerk and incorporated herein by
reference.
II.
That the Chief Engineer of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of said
Council, County of Hawaii, and in the manner prescribed by law be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to issue a call for tenders upon the aforesaid work to be
done within said Improvement District No. 15, on the basis of said Chief Engineer1s
final report and proposal, and bids to be submitted and bid enclosed by 2:00 o'clock
p.m., June 7, 1973,
being more than two (2) weeks after the date of the first
publication of the call as aforesaid, including Sundays and holidays.
