WHEREAS, MR. WALTER C. K. VICTOR, prominent Big Island
sportsman and outstanding community leader, after living a
full, productive, rich, and rewarding life, passed away on
April 10, 1973; and
vJHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii as recently
as February la, 1973, officially recognized the outstanding
contributions of WALTER C. K. VICTOR to his Big Island
community, and
WHEREAS, the people of the Big Island have suffered a
profound loss by the passing of WALTER C. K. VICTOR,
NOW, THEHEFOHE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF IffiWAII that it express its deepest sorrow and extend
its condolences to the family of WALTER C. K. VICTOR.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be and is hereby directed to transmit a true copy of
this resolution to Lena Reinhardt Victor, widow of Walter C. K.
Victor.
