Resolution No. 741
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Housing Authority has proposed a
32-unit, low-rent, elderly housing project to be built on
Parcel 49, Keekee 1, South Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 8-1-02:49; and
WHEREAS, Parcel 49 of TMK: 8-1-02:49 comprises a total
area of 5.923 acres; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii owns 10120 acres of the
50923 acres in fee simple, said land more fully described in
Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, a requirement for receiving Federal aid prescribes
that publicly owned lands are conveyed to the Hawaii Housing
Authority in fee rather than by executive order; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Land and Natural Resources has
requested that the 10120 acres of County land be conveyed in fee
to the State of Hawaii in order that the State may convey in fee
the entire 50923 acres to the Hawaii Housing Authority~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that said 1.120 acres of County land, being a portion of
Parcel 49, TMK: 8-1-02:49, be conveyed to the State of Hawaii
to be used for the Elderly Housing Project in Kona as proposed
by the Hawaii Housing Authorityo
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the County of
Hawaii be and is hereby autho~ized to convey said 10120-acre
portion of Parcel 49, TMK: 8-1-02:49 to the State of Hawaii.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized
and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Sunao Kidos
.

Being a portion of the 010 Kona Hospital Lot
(Deed: W.H. and E.C. Greenwell to County of Hawaii,
August 31, 1920, Liber 607, Pages 229 - 231)
(Land Office Deed 3072) Ha1ekii and Keekee, South Kona, Hawaii
Beginning at a spike in concrete, set on the southeast corner of this
lot, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey
Triangulation Station "PUU OHAU" being 1593.20 feet north and 12449.74 feet
East, thence runn in g by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
1. 970 07' 460.51 feet along Executive Order No. 1912;
2. 1850 27' 19.61 feet along portion of Grant 2004;
3. 2770 07' 333.64 feet along portion of Grant 2004;
4. 1800 24' 313.50 feet along portion of Grant 2004;
5. 2720 13' 81. 20 feet along portion of L.C. Aw. 387, Part 4;
6. 2630 52' 43.40 feet along portion of L.C. Aw. 387, Part 4, and
portion of Lot D;
