Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Charter requires that any
contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds
from appropriations of a later fiscal year be approved by
resoluti on; and
WHEREAS, more favorable terms are available in a two-year
lease of IBM Magnetic Card Selectric typewriters and it would
be to the advantage of the County to accept the extended lease
plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that two-year lease plans
to rent IBM Magnetic Card Selectric typewriters be approved
and that necessary funds be provided in the following fiscal
years to cover the obligation of the County under these
lease agreements to be entered into by the Corporation
Counsel's Office.
