<br />COUNTY OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br />BILL NO. 157 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. O~ JL~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 12, SECTION 14-71 AND <br />SECTION 14-72 OF THE HAWAI'I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS <br />AMENDED), RELATING TO THE OFFICIAL BULLETIN BOARD. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAW AI'I: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Purpose. Ordinance No. 06-140 amended the Hawai'i County Code to <br />move the location of the County's official bulletin board due to the extensive renovations of the <br />County building at 25 Aupuni Street. The completion of those renovations and relocation of the <br />Hawai'i County Council and Office of the County Clerk to the County building located at 25 <br />Aupuni Street require that the County Code be amended to provide that the original location of <br />the official bulletin board is reinstated. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 14, article 12, section 14-71 of the Hawai'i County Code 1983 <br />(2005 Edition, as amended) is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 14-71. Official bulletin board established; purpose. <br />There shall be an official bulletin board [located at] of the Hawai'i County <br />building [at Aupuni Center, 101 Puuahi Street, Hilo, Hawai'i] for the posting of <br />council and committee agendas and public notices of meetings of the County of <br />Hawai'i. This bulletin board is established in compliance with the provisions of <br />article XIII, Hawai'i County Charter." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Chapter 14, article 12, section 14-72 of the Hawai'i County Code <br />1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 14-72. Official bulletin board location. <br />The official bulletin board of the Hawai'i County building at [.L^...upuni <br />Center, 101 Pauahi Street,] 25 Aupuni Street, Hila, Hawai'i shall be located <br />within the exterior covered walkway of the Hawai'i County building, immediately <br />adjacent to its main entrance and shall be conspicuously displayed and identified <br />by the words "public notices" appearing thereon." <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br />underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need <br />not be included. <br />
