RESOLUTION VO. µ c `
WHEREAS, the 11onohina Hongwanj i Fuj inkai celebrated
its 65th anniversary on September 9, 1973; and.
WHEREAS, the Fujinkai is a public-spirited Buddhist
ladies auxiliary dedicated towards the assimilation of ladies
to the Big Island. way of life; and
WHEREAS, the Fujinkai is a community service-oriented
ladies auxiliary which has aided families during bereavement
and illness or hospitalization; and
WHEREAS, the people of the County of Hawaii wish to
congratulate the Fujinkai on its success and advances during
the past 65 years; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii sincerely appreciates the
aid the Fujinkai has provided to families in need,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it extends to the Honohina HonT#anji
Fujinkai its heartiest congratulations upon the celebration
of its 65th Anniversary, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is
hereby directed to send a copy of this resolution to
qtrs. Kikue Sueda, President of the Honohina Hongwanji Fujinkai,
and to Reverend Junkai Toyoura.
