RE: Creation of an Ad Hoc Committee Relating to the Fiscal Year 2010 - 2011 Budget
As stated in Communication No. 628, I have requested the formation of an Ad Hoc
Committee to examine the county positions which are currently vacant. Pursuant to Council
Rule No.7 and Hawai' i Revised Statutes ~92-2.5, the Chair shall select the members and
specify the purpose of the Committee.
For your consideration, I suggest the Ad Hoc Committee take the following approach:
o The Ad Hoc Committee shall work with each Department I-lead and Human Resource
personnel to evaluate and assess the vacant positions.
o The members shall report back to the committee by a specified date, to be determined
at the first Committee meeting.
