Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 167, reports as follows:
Bill No. 167, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 263-09, by Finance Director Nancy
Crawford via Communication No. 591, dated October 20, 2009, amends Ordinance No. 09-64, as
amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2010. The amendment is as follows:

The monetary contribution from the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company will be used to
purchase 1) equipment to connect additional fire stations to the existing video teleconferencing
system:, 2) upgraded portable fire extinguisher training equipment: 3) a public address system:
and 4) building material for training props.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property.
There was no discussion on this measure.
