COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. l4~ <br />(Draft 2) <br />~~~ ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br />(2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment is to address public safety <br />issues. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-281, schedule 29 (Parking <br />prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow-away zone), paragraph (c), South Hilo, of <br />the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding the following, <br />to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />"( ) Pi`ihonua Road both sides be ig nnin~ at the northern terminus <br />of Bride 25-2 to the southern terminus of Bride 25-1, between <br />the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m." <br />SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring <br />need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br />or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br />of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br />this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />SECTION 5.
