Ordinance No. 49
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO
THE ROAMING OR GRAZING OF
HORSES, MULES, CATTLE, DON-
KEYS, SWINE, SHEEP AND
GOATS UPON PUBLIC PLACES.
Be it ordained by the Board of Sup-
ervfsors of the County of Hawaii:
Section 1. That it shall be unlaw-
ful for &ny person to knowingly al-
low any horse, mule, cattle, donkey,
swine, sheep or goat belonging to him
or directly or IndSrectly under his
control to roam or graze in or upon
any public street, road, lane or alley,
or In or upon any public lands 1n the
County of~Hawaii.
Section 2. That it shall be the duty
of the Sheriff of the County of Ha-
waii, his Deputy and all Police Of-
Rcers to cause the arrest of any and
all persons violating the provisions of
section 1 of this Ordinance.
6ection 3. Any person or persons
who shall violate the provisions of Sec-
tion 1 of this Ordinance shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon convic-
tion thereof shall be fined not more
than Ten ($10.00) Dollars for the first
offense and not less than Ten ($10.00)
Dollars and not more than One Hun-
dred ($100.00) Dollars for each sub-
sequent offense.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall
take effect from and after the date of
its approval.

ervisors oY the Covnty of Hawall,
held at the County Seat upon the
16th day of December, A. D. 1912, and
upon being put to vote said Ordinance
was adopted by a maJority of the Sup-
ervisors at said meeting.
