RESOLUTION NO. 16
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 1 the Finance
Committee recommended the creation of 1 position of~
Assistant Clerk-Typist SR-5 in the Department of the Board
of `Supervisors (Section 8.02) and 1 position of Assistant
Clerk-Typist SR-5 (temporary as needed) in the Department
of County Treasurer (Section 8.06), effective as of
January 12, 1965; and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 1 the Finance
Committee further recommended the reallocation of 1 position
of Building Maintenance Helper SR-7 to Building Maintenanceman
SR-11
SR-9--in the Department of Hilo Hospital, Tuberculosis Division
['Section 8.11 NJ; and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 1 the Finance
Committee further recommended the reallocation of 1 position
of Nurse Aid SR-4 to Practical Nurse SR-8 in the.Department
of Kona Hospital (Section 8.13), effective as of January 1,

WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 1 the Finance
Committee further recommended the reallocation of 1 position
of Bus Driver-School Custodian SR-7 to Senior Bus Driver-School

Custodian SR-8 in the Department of Schools (Section 8.20); and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 1 the. Finance
Committee further recommended the creation of l position of
~O Assistant Clerk-Typist SR-5 in the Department of Honokaa
Hospital (Section 8.14).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that the following positions
are hereby created and reallocated:
Department of the Board of `Supervisors (Section 8.02)
Create 1 position of Assistant Clerk-Typist 'SR-5.
Department of County Treasurer (Section 8.06-)
Create 1-position of Assistant Clerk-Typist SR-5
(temporary as needed), effective as of January 12,
1965.
Department of Hilo Hospital,.Tuberculosis Division
[Section 8.11 (b)]
Reallocate 1 position of Building Maintenance
Helper SR-7 to Building Maintenanceman 5R--4-r SR-11.
Department of Kona Hospital (Section 8.13)
Reallocate 1 position of Nurse Aid -SR-4 to
Practical Nurse SR-8, effective as of
January ,1, 1965.
Department of Schools (Section 8.20)
Reallocate 1 position of Bus Driver-School
Custodian SR-7 to Senior Bus Driver-School
Custodian SR-8.
Department of Honokaa Hospital (Section 8.14)
Create 1 position of Assistant Clerk-Typist SR-5.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended the positions hereinabove created and reallocated
be noted therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy-each of this resolution

be transmitted Ito the Departments of Board of Supervisors,
County.Treasurer, Hilo Hospital", Kona Hospital, Schools, Honokaa
Hospital; Civil Service, County Auditor and County Attorney
for their information.

JANUARY 20, 1965
Supervisor Hisaoka moved to amend Resolution 16, the fourth
line of the second paragraph, by changing "SR-9" to "SR-ll",
-and on page 2, the thirteenth line, by changing "SR-9" to
"SR-ll". Seconded by Supervisor Yadao and unanimously carried.
