RESOLUTION NO. 45
WHEREAS, SHIRLBY CASIL of Kohala was named the
B1g Island Junior Miss for 1965 in the State of Hawaii's
Junior Miss contest sponsored by the Hamakua Jaycees: and
WHEREAS,said SHIRLeY CASIL will represent this
County in the state finals to be held in Honolulu on
February 6, 1960.
NOW, niER!FORE," BE IT RESOLVED BY niE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii ,at its meeting held this date
that it does hereby congratulate SHIRLEY CA$IL for winning the
distinct honor of representing the Big Island in the state finals
of the Junior Miss contest in Honolulu.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board extends its best
wishes for her every success in the state finals and, hopefully,
in the national finals to be held in Mobile, Alabama in March.
BS IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is
hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the'
said SHIRLEY CASIL.
