A RESOLUTION SURRENDERING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 1107, DATED
FEBRUARY 23, 1945,:WHICH SETS ASIDE AN ADDITIONAL SITE FOR
COUNTY WAREHOUSE AND STORAGE YARD IN WAIAKEA, SOUTH HILO,
COUNTY OF HAWAII, 'STATE OF HAWAII.

WHEREAS, by Executive Order No. 1107, dated February 23,
1945, the Governor of the then Territory of Hawaii had set

aside and placed a portion of public land in Waiakea,
South Hilo, County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii, to be under
the control and management of the Board of Sup~rvisors of

. the County of Hawaii as an additional' site for 'County ware-
house and storage yard; and
.WHEREAS, the Hawaii Housing Authority,' State of Hawaii,
has selected this site for the placement of a 20-unit housing

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii, that the site
for County warehouse and storage yard as set aside by
Executive Order No. 1107, dated February 23, 1945, be and is
hereby declared surrendered to the State of Hawaii.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Honor?ble John A. Burns,
Governor of the State of Hawaii, be and is hereby respectfully
requested to use the good ,powers of his office to cancel
said Exetutive Order No. 1107, dated Febr~ary 23, 1945.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED .that the County Clerk be ~nd
she is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution
to the Honorable John A. Burns, Governor of the State of
Hawaii, to'the Honorable Jim P. Ferry, Chairman of the
Board of Land and Natural Resources of the State of Hawaii,
and to the Honorable Alonzo Sullivan, Executive Director,
Hawaii Housing Authority, State of' Hawaii.
