Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 400.5, reports as
follows:
Communication No. 400.5, transmitted by Mayor Billy Kenoi, dated October 22, 2009, requests
confirmation of the appointment of Ms. Giovanna Gherardi to the North Kohala Community
Development Plan Action Committee.
Ms. Gherardi was not present at the committee meeting.
Council Member Pete Hoffmann spoke in support of the appointment.
Chair Ikeda waived Ms. Gherardi's presence at Council.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with Mayor Kenoi's nomination and recommends
confirmation of the appointment of Ms. Giovanni Gherardi to the North Kohala Community
Development Plan Action Committee.
