Re: Scope of Ad-Hoc Committee Formed on 12/02/09
Chair Yoshimoto and Members of the Hawai'i County Council,
This memo is to remind the council of the scope of the ad-hoc committee formed
on 12/02/09. After reviewing the transcripts of the 12/02/09 council meeting, the scope
of the ad-hoc committee is as follows:
1. To look at the priority of county services;
2. To look at the issue of obtaining public input regarding the budget;
3. To develop a better working relationship with the administration and solicit
recommendations from the administration;
4. To invite someone from the administration to participate in the ad-hoc
committee's meetings; and
5. To submit the ad-hoc committee's report and recommendations to the full council
by the January 22, 2010 meeting.
