RESOLUTION NO. 67
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 521 OF 1964, AS AMENDED,
ESTABLISHING AND DESIGNATING.SAFETY ZONES,-QUIET ZONES, TRAFFIC
LANES,.CROSSWALKS, AND LOADING ZONES IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,.
STATE OF HAWAII.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF.HAWAII: -
SECTION 1. Section 1, Paragraph A (Safety Zones--Hamakua),
is hereby amended in the following respects
a. Subsections 1, 2, and 4 are hereby deleted and repealed,
SLAG P ? b. Subsection 3 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"3. On the makai side of Mamalahoa Highway from the
Paauilo Garage to the Paauilo School Road."
SECTION 2. Section 41 Paragraph B (Crosswalks--Hamakua),
is hereby amended in the following respects:

a. Deleting and repealing subsections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and
10.
~f b. Subsection 9 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"On Pakalana Street, 145 feet mauka of Mamane Street.
t;~e f Intersection near the Honokaa Swimming Pool."
c. Subsection 11 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Pakalana Street, makai of Kukui Street at the
Honokaa School entrance road."
SECTION 3. Section 5 (Freight Loading and unloading zones)
~r is hereby amended by adding a new subsection 5-22 to read as
QwL 3 follows:
"On the Hamakua side of Kukuau Street:
"5-22. Beginning 30 feet mauka of Kilauea Avenue, 45 feet.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall take effect upon its approval.
