HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 069 Draft 01 1965 iy COUNTY OF HAWAII- STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 69 RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PORTION OF THE OLD HONOKAHAU ROAD IN NORTH KONA, COUNTY AND STATE OF HAWAII. WHEREAS, a portion of the old Honokahau Road at Honokahau, North Kona, County and State of Hawaii, abuts the property owned by Mr. Frank Greenwell; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, together with Mr. Frank Greenwell, is desirous of realigning the old Honokahau Road; and ? R WHEREAS, Public Works Committee Report No. 56 of the Board of Supervisors, dated June 30, 1964, recommended that d a portion of the old Honokahau Road be abandoned upon '4;execution of an agreement by Mr. Frank Greenwell to construct a realigned Honokahau Road; and WHEREAS, said agreement was executed on March 1, 1965; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii has no further interest in said portion of the old Honokahau Road, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS in and for the Count of Hawaii that a y portion of the old Honokahau Road in North Kona, County and State of Hawaii, a more particular description thereof and map (portion designated in red) being attached hereto and made a part-hereof by reference,.be and it is hereby declared abandoned for road purposes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk'be authorized and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Chairman of the Board of Land and Natural Resources of-the State of Hawaii and to Mr. Frank Greenwell.
