COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 78
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF HAWAII
TO RELEASE FUNDS FOR THE DRAWING OF PLANS TO CONSTRUCT AN
UNDERPASS BETWEEN HILO'UNION SCHOOL AND RIVERSIDE.SCHOOL
ANNEX IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, Section 1-D-7-t of Act 52, Session Laws of
Hawaii 1961, provides for the appropriation of $2,500 for
the,drawing of plans for an underpass between Hilo Union
School and Riverside School Annex in the County of Hawaii;
and
WHEREAS, the County.of Hawaii is anxious to proceed with
the drawing of preliminary .plans as soon as possible,
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 'BY'. THE BOARD 'OF
SUPERVISORS in and for--the County of Hawaii that the
Honorable John A. Burns, Governor of the State of Hawaii,

be and is hereby respectfully requested to make available to'._.
the County of Hawaii the sum of $2,500 to draw plans for an
underpass between Hilo Union School and Riverside School Annex
in the County of Hawaii,.pursuant to the provisions of
Section 1-D-7-t, Act 52, Session Laws of Hawaii 1964.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and she

the Honorable Shelley Mark, Director of the Department of
V/ Planning and Economic Development, and to the Honorable
