COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. $1':
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 4 the Finance
.Committee recommended the reallocation of one position of
Labor Foreman I SR-9 to Road Construction and Maintenance
Working Foreman SR-13 in the Bureau of Road Construction and
Maintenance,-Hamakua District, Department of Public Works
['Section 8.18 (e-4)] and the abolition of one position of
Labor-Foreman II SR-11 in the Bureau of Road Construction
and Maintenance, South Hilo District, Department of Public
Works [Section 8.18 (e-1)]; and
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 5 the Finance Committee
recommended the reallocation of the following positions in the
Department of Parks and Recreation:
"[Section 8.19 (a)]Department of Parks and Recreation
- Reallocate two positions of Recreation Leader SR-11
0j to Recreation Instructor SR-9.
[Section 8.19 (b)J Maintenance Division
Reallocate one position of Power Mower Repairman
SR-11 to Mechanical Repairman SR-11.

Reallocate one position of Power Mower Repairman
Helper SR-7 (temporary as needed) to Mechanical
Repairman Helper 'SR-7 (temporary as needed);.and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 5 the.Finance
Committee further recommended the following changes in
positions in the Department of Public Works:
e,f~ftz~ [Section 8.18 (b) ] Bureau of Plans and Surveys
Create two positions of Engineering Aid III SR-14.
[Section 8.18 (e-2)] Bureau of Road Construction and
Maintenance, Puna. District.
J Abolish one position of Equipment Operator II
SR-10.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that one position
of Labor Foreman I SR-9 is hereby reallocated to Road Construction
and Maintenance Working Foreman SR-13 in the Bureau of Road
Construction and Maintenance, Hamakua District, Department of
Public Works [Section 8.18 (e-4)] and one position of Labor
Foreman II SR-11 is hereby abolished in the Bureau of Road
Construction and Maintenance, South Hilo District, Department
of Public Works [Section 8.18 (e-1)].
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following positions
are hereby reallocated in the Department of Parks and Recreation:
['Section 8.19 (a)] Department of Parks and Recreation
Two positions of Recreation Leader SR-11 are
reallocated to Recreation Instructor SR-9.
[Section 8.19 (b)] Maintenance Division
One position of Power Mower Repairman SR-11 is
reallocated to Mechanical Repairman SR-11.
One position of Power Mower Repairman Helper SR-7
(temporary as needed) is reallocated to Mechanical
Repairman Helper SR-7 (temporary as needed).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following positions
are hereby created and abolished in the Department of Public
Works:
[Section 8.18 NJ Bureau of Plans and Surveys
Two positions of Engineering Aid III SR-14 are
created.
[Section 8.18 (e-2)] Bureau of Road Construction and
Maintenance, Puna District.
One position of Equipment Operator II SR-10 is
abolished effective as of April 1, 1965.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended the positions hereinabove reallocated, created
and abolished be notAed/ therein.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy each of.this
resolution be transmitted to the Department of Public Works,.
County Chairman, Parks and Recreation, Civil Service, County
Auditor and County Attorney.f or their information.
