COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 122
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 10 the Finance Committee
recommended the creation of the following positions in the
Department of Hawaii Fire Department (Section 8.10):
1.position of Fire Captain SR-23;
1 position of Fire Apparatus Operator SR-18;
and
WHEREAS, by Committee Reports Nos. 5 and 10 the Finance
Committee further recommended the abolition of one position
of Recreation Leader SR-11 and the creation of one position
of Recreation Helper SR-6 and one position of Building
Maintenanceman Helper SR-7 in the Department of Parks and
Recreation [Section 8.19 (a)J; and
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 10 the Finance Committee
further approved the reallocation of the follovdnng positions
C-~/Ol f in the Department of Parks and Recreation, Maintenance Division
[Section 8:19 (b)]:
1 position of Carpenter SR-11 to Building
Maintenanceman SR-11;

1 position of Carpenter Helper SR-7 to Building
P Maintenanceman Helper SR-7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that the following positions
U are hereby created, abolished and reallocated:
Department-of Hawaii Fire Department (Section 8.10)
Create 1 position of Fire Captain SR-23.
Create 1 position of -Fire Apparatus Operator SR-18.

Abolish 1 position of Recreation Leader SR-11.
Create 1 position of Recreation Helper SR-6.

Reallocate 1 position of Carpenter SR-11 to

Reallocate 1 position of Carpenter Helper SR-7
to Building Maintenanceman Helper SR-7.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended the positions hereinabove created, abolished
and reallocated be noted therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy each of this resolution
be transmitted to the Departments of Hawaii Fire Department,
Parks and Recreation, Civil Service, County Auditor and
County Attorney for their information.
