COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 124
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 9 the Finance Committee
recommended the abolition of:
1. One position of Promoter of Activities A-11 in
~?-,3 67 the Department of.Chairman's Office (Section 8.01);
2. One position of-Administrator, Economic Research
and Development Commission SR-27 in the Department
of Economic Research and Development Commission
(Section 8.28) which position was transferred for
administrative purposes to the Department of
Chairman's Office (Section 8.01) by Resolution No.
39, dated February 3, 1965;
and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 9 the Finance
Committee further recommended the creation of one position
of Director of Economic Development and one position of
Deputy Director of Economic Development in the Department of
Economic Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that the following positions
are hereby abolished:
1. One position of Promoter of Activities A-11 in the
Department of Chairman's Office (Section 8.01);
2. One position of Administrator, Economic Research
and Development Commission SR-27 in the Department
of Economic Research and Development Commission
r(Section 8.28) which position was transferred for

Chairman's Office (Section 8.01) by Resolution
Q~ No. 39, dated February 3, 1965.
BE•;LT:yFURTHER RESOLVED that the following positions
are hereby created in the Department of Economic Development:
. 1. One position of Director of Economic Development
at a monthly salary of $875.00;
2. One position of Deputy Director of Economic
Development at a monthly salary of $796.00.
acq BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
amended the positions hereinabove abolished and

created be noted therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy each of this
resolution be transmitted to the Departments of Chairman's
Office, Economic Development, Civil Service, County Auditor
and County Attorney for their information.
