COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 133
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF HAWAII
TO RELEASE FUNDS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF KEAAU CIVIC CENTER
BUILDING AND FACILITIES AT KEAAU, COUNTY OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, Section 1-D-5-b of Act-201, Session Laws of
Hawaii 1963, provides for the appropriation of $150,000
for replacement of Keaau Civic Center Building and Facilities
at Keaau, County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii has duly awarded the
construction contract and desires to proceed with the
replacement of said Keaau Civic Center Building and
Facilities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County, of Hawaii that the
z Honorable John A. Burns, Governor of the State of Hawaii,
be and is hereby respectfully requested to make available
to the County of Hawaii the sum of $150,000 to replace the
Keaau Civic Center Building and Facilities in the County
of Hawaii, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1-D-5-b,
Act 201, Session Laws of Hawaii 1963.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is
hereby instructed to send copies of this resolution to the
Honorable' John A. Burns, Governor of the State of Hawaii,
-to-,the Hondfab.le Shelley Mark, Director of the Department
of Planning and Economic Development, and to the Honorable
Andrew F. Ing, Director of Finance, for their favorable
