HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 135 Draft 01 1965 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 135 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 522 OF 1964, AS AMENDED, ESTABLISHING AND DESIGNATING NO-PARKING ZONES, TIME-LIMIT PARKING ZONES, U-TURN AREAS, PROHIBITED LEFT AND RIGHT TURN INTERSECTIONS, ONE-WAY STREETS, THROUGH STREETS, STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND PLAY 'STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Section 1 (No-parking zones. Locations.) of Resolution No. 522, 1964, is hereby amended by adding thereto new subsections 1-86, 1-87 and 1-88 to read as follows: Pe,,'C-e.10-.2.:;1 111-86. Mauka side of Kilauea Avenue beginning at the Puna end of Ka-rnana Street for a distance of 227 feet in the Puna direction. "1-87. Makai side of Kilauea Avenue beginning at the Puna side entrance to the Hilo Shopping Center and extending 100 feet in the Puna direction. 111-88. Makai side of Kilauea Avenue-beginning at the Puna crosswalk line located in front of F Hilo Hongwanji Mission extending 50 feet in the Puna direction." SECTION 2. Section 4 (Prohibited Left and Right Turn Intersections.'. Locations.) of Resolution No. 522, 1964, is hereby amended by adding thereto a new subsection -A-5 (Left.Tur_ns,Prohibited) to read as follows: s. . "A-5e Kamehameha Avenue at Manono Street for Hamakua bound traffic except on the green arrow or at the" ,direction of a police officer." v ri l SECTION 3. Section 7 (Stop Intersections.-Locations.) of Resolution No. 522, 1964, is hereby amended by adding thereto a new subsection 7-23 to read as follows: 117-23. At the Puako-Kawaihae-Rockerfeller junction, entering the Hapuna Bay Access Road (Hawaii Project No. G-3257-01-60) at South Kohala, from the old Puako-Kawaihae Road, moving in the Kawaihae direction, except on right turn movement when such movement may be made with care to avoid collision."
