COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 173
WHEREAS, the Health Facilities Planning Council of
Hawaii, Inc., an eleemosynary corporation in the State of
Hawaii, has prepared and published a comprehensive health
facilities plan for the County of Hawaii;
WHEREAS, the.,said plan incorporates careful and
exhaustive study of present facilities and makes recommendations
for future growth and construction of hospitals and other
related facilities within the County of Hawaii for years
19,64 to 1985;
WHEREAS, the plan establishes long-range goals and
provides standards by which future medical and hospital needs
are recommended for the County of Hawaii;
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
e,( the County of Hawaii that the comprehensive health facilities

plan for the County of Hawaii prepared by the Health
Facilities Planning Council of Hawaii, Inc., is hereby
adopted in principle and that a copy of such plan be placed
in the reference library of the Board of Supervisors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the resolution be
sent to the Health Facilities Planning Council of Hawaii, Inc.
