COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 184
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 18 the Finance
Committee recommended the creation of one position of
Park Caretaker SR-4 in the Department of Parks and Recreation,
Maintenance Division [Section 8.19 (b)]; and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 18 the Finance
Committee further recommendedthe creation of the following
positions in the Bureau of Building Construction and Inspection
of the Department of Public Works [Section .8.18 ( a)
` Create one position of Electrical Inspector SR-19;
Create one position of Plumbing Inspector SR-19; and
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 13 the Public Works

and Maintenance of the Department of Public Works, North and

South Kona [Section 8.18 (e-6)].
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that one position of Park
Caretaker SR-4 is hereby created in the Department of Parks
and Recreation, Maintenance Division [Section 8.19 (b)].
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following positions
are hereby created in the Bureau of Building Construction and
Inspection of the Department of Public Works [Section 8.18 (a)]:.
Create.one position of Electrical Inspector SR-19;
Create one position of Plumbing Inspector- SR-19.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that one position of Power Shovel
Operator'SR-15 is hereby abolished in the Bureau of Road
Construction and Maintenance of the Department of Public Works,
North and South Kona Section 8.18 (e-6)].

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended the positions hereinabove created and abolished
be noted therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy each of this resolution
be transmitted to the Departments of Parks and Recreation,
Public Works, County Chairman, Civil Service, County Auditor
and County Attorney for their information.
