RESOLUTION NO. 196
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 522 OF 19641 AS AMENDED,
ESTABLISHING AND DESIGNATING NO-PARKING ZONES, TIME-LIMIT
PARKING ZONES, U-TURN AREAS, PROHIBITED LEFT AND RIGHT TURN
INTERSECTIONS, ONE-WAY STREETS, THROUGH STREETS, STOP INTER
SECTIONS, AND PLAY STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF
HAWAII.
BE IT'RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 522 of 1964, as
amended, relating to no parking zones, is hereby further amended
by adding thereto a new paragraph to read as follows:
"l-89. On both sides cf the Mamal'ahoa Highway in
r' Keaau, Puna, from the point of intersection of the
centerlines of the Keaau-Pahoa Road and the Mamalahoa
Highway for a distance of one hundred (100) feet towards
Volcano."
SECTION 2. Subsection A of Section 4 of Resolution No..522
of 19641 as amended, relating to prohibition of left and right
turns, is hereby further amended by adding thereto a new paragraph
4e a.z to read as follows:
"6. Old Olaa-Pahoa Road into Mamalahoa Highway in
Keaau, opposite the Keaau Service Station."
SECTION 3. Subsection 6-16 of Section 6 of Resolution No. 522
of 1964, as amended, relating to through streets, is amended to read
? as follows:
LLL "6-16. THE HIGHWAY known as the Keaau to Kapoho
Road, from.._it.s intersection with the Hawaii Belt Road
in Keaau to Kapoho.

SECTION 4. Subsection 6-43 of'Section 6 of Resolution
No. 522 of 1964, as amended, relating to through streets, is
further amended by adding thereto a new section to read as
follows:
"h. The Keaau-Pahoa Road."
SECTION 5. Section 6 of Resolution No. 522 of 19641 as
amended, relating to through streets, is further amended by
adding thereto two new subsections to read as follows:
"6-79. TERRACE CIRCLE, except at its intersection
with Terrace Drive."
"6-80. TERRACE DRIVE, except at its intersection
with Terrace Circle."
SECTION 6. This resolution shall take effect upon its
approval.
