RESOLUTION NO. 242
WHEREAS, the State Department of Land and Natural
FC-J/P/&./ / Resources has requested the Department of Parks and Recreation,
County of Hawaii, to remove and relocate its shop and facilities

situated on State land in the Waiakea Peninsula; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is without suitable land
or premises to relocate the aforesaid shop and facilities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that it does respectfully
request the Honorable John A. Burns, Governor of the State of
Hawaii, to transfer to the County of Hawaii by Executive Order
for park purposes that parcel comprising an area of 28,675 square
feet, more or less, TMK 2-1-12-5, adjoining General Lease No. 3479,
in the City of Hilo, as more particularly delineated on the
attached map, and incorporated herein by reference, or any other
available State lands in the adjacent area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be
transmitted to the Honorable John A. Burns, Governor of the
State of Hawaii, and to the State Board of Land and Natural
Resources.
