Subject: Resolution 267-09 re: Council Meetings in Kona
This is insane! What are you thinking? Cut council meetings from 12 times per year to only four
times ...in the district that provides 70% of county revenue?
If you want to cut costs, stop meeting in expensive hotels. Use county facilities, like Hale Halawai
or the old airport pavilion. There is no need for Hilo council members to stay overnight in expensive
hotels, either. Drive home in pau hang traffic, like the rest of the peons do.
