Aloha Chairman Yoshimoto and Council members!
I urge you to oppose Mr. Ikeda's resolution to reduce council meetings in Kona to only four times a
year. That might save the County a tiny bit of money (.00027% of budget revenues, assuming his
figures are accurate), but it is certainly NOT the way for public input.
Please continue meetings in Hilo and Kona equally. Teleconferencing is wonderful, in a way, but
definitely those on the W screen are not listened to as carefully as those in person. It is obvious when
watching the Council members in action.
