RESOLUTION NO. 270
WHEREAS, by Committee Report N6. 36 the Finance Committee

recommended the abolition of one position of Carpenter-Clerk

SR-ll in the Bureau of Building Construction and Inspection
of the Department of Public Works, South Hilo & Puna Division ,;
[Section 8.15 (a-I)] and the creation of one new position of (!-fg'3
Clerk-Stenographer SR-9 in the Office of the Chief Engineer,
Department of Public Works (Section 8.15); and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 36 the Finance
Committee further recommended the creation of two new

positions of Laborer III SR-7 in the Bureau of Road
Construction and Maintenance of the Department of Public
Works, South Hilo Division [Section 8.15 (e-l)]; and

WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 36 the Finance
Committee further recommended the reallocation of one position

of Clerk-Typist SR-7 to Account Clerk SR-IO in the Department
of the Board of Supervisors (Section 8.02) effective as of
September 1, 1965.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that'the following positions
are hereby abolished, created and reallocated:
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Building Construction
and Inspection, South Hilo & Puna Division [Section 8.15. '

to Account Clerk SR-10, effective as of
September 1, 1965.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended the positions hereinabove abolished, created
and reallocated be noted therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy each of this
resolution be transmitted to the Departments of Public Works,
County Chairman, Board of Supervisors, Civil 'Service, County
Auditor and County Attorney for their information.
