COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 331
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 46 the Finance
Committee recommended the following amendments to the
Salary Ordinance:
Department of Hawaii Police (Section 8.20). ;,
Reallocate 71 positions of Polibeman SR-lS tb'
Policeman II SR-17.
Change the class title of Policeman SR-lS to
Policeman I SR-lS.

Department of Schools (Section 8.17)
Reallocate one position of School Custodian II
SR-4 to Tractor Mower Operator SR-6.
Department of Parks and Recreation [Section 8.16 (a)]
Change in status of 2 temporary-as-needed positions
of Lifeguard SR-9 to full-time, permanent positions
of Lifeguard SR-9.
Abolish 2 positions of Recreation Instructor SR-9.

are hereby amended and abolished in the following departments:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended the positions hereinabove amended and abolished
be noted therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy each of this resolution
be transmitted to the Departments of Hawaii Police, Schools,
Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Hilo Hospital, County
Chairman, Civil Service, County Auditor and County Attorney for
their information.
