COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 340
RESOLUTION AB~NDONING A ROAD EASEMENT AT HUALUA, NORTH KOHALA,
COUNTY AND STATE OF HAWAI I .
WHEREAS, a road easement in a parcel of land owned by
\
the State of Hawaii at Hualua, N9rth Kohala, County and State
of Hawaii, abuts the property owned by Mr. Takeo Yamasaki; and

c- /5cJ.Y / WHEREAS, the Board of Land and Natural Resources of the
State of Hawaii is desirous of effectuating'a sale of the road
easement parcel to Mr. Takeo Yamasaki; and
viHEREAS, the Co~nty of Hawaii has not improved nor is
using the road easement as a roadway; and
\iHEREAS, an improved roadway adjoins said road easement
on and through the above said property owned by the State of
Hawaii providing access to the Hawi-M~hukona Road, a government

WHEREAS, the Chief Engineer of ~he County of Hawaii has
investigated the matter and recommends that said road easement
be abandoned, as set forth in a letter dated November 3, 1965,
to the Chairman and Executive Officer of the County of Hawai~,
Nmv, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of. Hawaii that the road easement in a
parcel of land owned by the State of Hawaii at Hualua, North
Kohala, County and State of Hawaii, a more particular description
thereof and a map being attached hereto and made a part hereof
by references, be and is hereby declared abandoned for road
purposes.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized
and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Chairman
of the Board of Land and Natural Resources of the State of Hawaii
and to Mr. Takeo Yamasaki.
