Proposed Bill to Rename a Portion of Leleiwi Beach Park Pursuant to Chapter
15, Article 8; and Add the Renamed Portion to the Parks and Recreational
Facilities Schedule
For your consideration, please find attached a bill to rename a portion of what is currently Leleiwi
Beach Park.
The subject parcel is 'an open area located in the Keaukaha area of South Hilo within TMK (3) 2-
1-017:018 and bounded by the direct extensions of Lokoaka Street and Kioea Street. The attached
bill proposes renaming this area "Uil2ikea Pond Beach Park" and adding this park to the parks and
recreational facilities schedule; Hawai 'i County Code chapter 15, article 8, section 15-68.1.
