Subject: Prohibit Intoxicating Liquors at Kona Beach parks
Aloha!
Please support Comm. 637 and 638 (Bills 180 and 181) to prohibit drinking of intoxicating
liquors at La'aloa Bay Beach Park, Magic Sands, Pahoehoe, and Kahalu'u. Being a near-by
resident of those beaches, I know that intoxication has become a major problem for
residents, tourists, and even lifeguards.
I would urge you to add Wai'aha Beach Park (aka Honl's), as well. It has become a very
popular little park and is an easy park for intoxication to be a problem, too.
