COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 15
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. the Public Works
Committee recommended the approval of the request of
Yoshio Inaba, Chief Engineer, Department of Public Works,
for the creation of two (2) new temporary positions in
the Department of Public Works, to wit:
HAMAKUA DISTRICT
I only Equipment Operator I SR-7
(temporary as needed)
KAU DISTRICT
1 only Mason (temporary as needed) SR-11
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the
foregoing positions be hereby established, effective as
of November 19, 1958, and that the Chief Engineer be
authorized to fill=said positions by appointment in
accordance with the rules and regulations of the Civil
Service Commission and to pay to the employees selected
compensation as provided by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the salary ordinance
is next amended, the new temporary positions be incorporated
therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County
of Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
forward a copy each of this resolution to the Departments
of Civil Service, County Auditor and Public Works for
their information.
