COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 31
WHEREAS, portions of the Kohala Mountain Road,
Kohala, County and Territory of Hawaii are in dire
need of improvement; and
WHEREAS, Act 150, Session Laws of Hawaii 1957,
appropriates $100,000.00 for the construction of the
Kohala Mountain Road,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE-IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the
Honorable William F. Quinn, Governor of the Territory
of Hawaii, and the Honorable Frank Lombardi, Director,
Territorial Planning Commission be and are hereby
respectfully requested to exercise the good powers of
their offices to authorize the immediate initiation
of the Kohala Mountain Road project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County
of Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
forward a copy each of this resolution to the Honorable
William F. Quinn, Governor of the Territory of Hawaii,
and the Honorable Frank Lombardi, Director, Territorial
Planning Commission.
