COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 38
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has,.recommended the
following changes in the reorganization of the Puumaile and
Hilo Memorial Hospital:
Abolish one position of Superintendent, SR-31, and
create one position of Lay Administrator, SR-31; Puumaile
division, create one position of Medical Director, SR-31.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors,
in and for the County of Hawaii, that the position of Super-
intendant be abolished and the positions of one Lay Administrator,
SR-31, and one Medical Director, SR-31, be and they are hereby
established at the Puumaile and Hilo Memorial Hospital and
that the managing committee of said hospital be authorized
to fi'1l said positions by appointment in accordance with the
rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission, and to
pay the employees selected compensation as provided by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of-the County of
Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and directed to forward
a copy each of this resolution to the Department of Civil
Service and to the Puumaile and Hilo Memorial Hospital for
their information.
