A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 270 OF 1957, ESTABLISHING AND DESIGNATING
NO-PARKING ZONES, TIME LIMIT PARKING ZONES, U-TURN AREAS, PROHIBITED LEFT AND
RIGHT TURN INTERSECTIONS, ONE-WAY STREETS, THROUGH STREETS, STOP INTERSECTIONS,
AND PLAY STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, TERRITORY OF HAWAII, AND REPEALING
ALL OTHER RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HER3gITH.
Section 1. Section 1 (No Parking Zones - Locations), as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding Subsections (ww) and (xx) to read as follows:
"(ww) On the Hamakua side of Hoku Street, from Kilauea Street to
the first driveway."
"(xx) Waimea to Hawi Road, from Nakahara Store to the mauka end
of Hawi Camp in Hawi. "
Section 2. Section 5 (One-way Streets - Locations), as amended, is hereby
further amended in the following respects:
a. By amending Subsection;(h) to read as follows:
"(h) WAIANUENUE STREET. All vehicular traffic shall move from
only mauka to makai between Kaumana Drive and Kamehameha
Avenue between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on
school days."
b. By adding Subsection (m) to read as follows:
"(m) PUNAHELE STREET. All vehicular traffic shall move only
from makai to mauka between Halai Street and Kaumana
Drive between the hours from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. on
school days."
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect upon its approval.
