ORDINANCE NO. 00 29
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
(1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28 (No parking
at anytime), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), be
amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
~ Kinoole Street, makai side, from a point four hundred thirtv-one feet
southeast of Haili Street and extendine one hundred feet to Mamo Street.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28 (No parking
at anytime), subsection (c) South Hilo, item (88), of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is
amended to read as follows:
Kinoole Street, makai side, from a point [one hundred fifteen]one hundred
e~hty-eight feet south [(Puna) and]of Mohouli Street to a point
[eighty]seventy-one feet north [(Hamakua)] of Mohouli Street.
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In
printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person
or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, acrd to
this end,the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
