COUNTY OF HAWAII m TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RE-SOLUTION NO. 90
WHEREAS, Samuel Wilder King, public°serva.nt, passed away
on March 24, 1959; and
WHEREAS,, the late Samuel Wilder King was one of Hawai,ias
most able and public spirited citizens with the most
distinguished record of accomplishment; and
WHEREAS, the loss of the late Samuel Wilder King is an
v
immeasurable loss to Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Hawaii pay tribute and honor to
the memory of one of the greatest men of the Territory of
Hawaii,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors in and for the County of.-Hawaii that the passing
away of the late Samuel Wilder King is deeply regretted by
the Chairman and Members of the Board of Supervisors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and Members
of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Hawaii, being
fully aware of the bereavement of his remaining family
members, do extend to them their sympathy on behalf of the
citizens of the County of Hawaii.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
is hereby instructed to forward a true copy of this
resolution to the remaining family members of the late
Samuel Wilder King.
