COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 122
WHEREAS, direct air service to the Island of Hawaii
from the United States and from all parts of the pacific
will greatly promote the welfare of the County of Hawaii;
and
WHEREAS, it has long been the wishes and desire of
the people of the County of Hawaii to have direct air
service; and
WHEREAS, the absence of direct air service has handicapped'
the fullest development of economy of the County of Hawaii;
and
WHEREAS, the Civil Aeronautics Board is considering
application for the providing of said direct service to the
County of Hawaii. '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that direct air service to the
County of Hawaii be and is hereby favorably endorsed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Civil Aeronautics Board
be and is hereby respectfully requested to give favorable
consideration of the application providing for direct
service to the island of Hawaii.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to send a copy of this
resolution to the Civil Aeronautics Board, Washington D. C.
