AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-264, schedule 12 (Stop intersections), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended to read as follows: (c) South Hilo (1) Baker Avenue, Desha Avenue intersection, all approaches. (2) Entering Alae Street from Kamakaohonu Street. (3) Entering Awela Street from Awela Place. (4) Entering Haili Street from a southerly direction from Halai Street. (5) [Entering]Hualalai Street [from], Ululani Street[.] intersection. all a~roaches. (6) Entering Kahaopea Street from Maikai Street. (7) [Entering the intersection ofJKahaopea Street [and], Ohuohu Street [from]intersection. all approaches. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstances, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
