COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 145
WHEREAS,-the Chief Engineer of the Department of
Public Works of the County of Hawaii has recommended the
elimination of one position of Civil Engineer Assistant,
SR 20, and the creation of one position of Sr. Civil
Engineer, SR 25, in the Bureau of Plans and Surveys
(Section 8.22 of the Salary Ordinance of 1959) of the
Department of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii, that Section
8.22 of the Salary Ordinance of 1959, being Ordinance
No. 207 of the Ordinances of the County of Hawaii, be
amended so as to eliminate the position of Civil Engineer
Assistant, SR 20, and create one position of Sr. Civil
Engineer, SR 25, in the Bureau of Plans and Surveys of
the Department of Public Works and that the Chairman and
Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors, with the
approval of the Board of Supervisors, is authorized to
fill said position of Sr. Civil Engineer in accordance
with the rules and regulations of the Civil Service
Commission and to pay to the employee selected compensation
as provided by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County
of Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
forward a copy each of this resolution to the Departments
of Public Works, Civil Service, County Chairman, County
Auditor and County Attorney, for their information.
