COUNTY OF HAWAII TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 149
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 39, the Finance
Committee has recommended the creation of a new position
of Garage Foreman (SR 15) in the Division of Automotive
Equipment and Motor Pool (Section 8.23 of the Salary
Ordinance of 1959) of the Department of Public Works;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawaii that the new position
of Garage Foreman (SR 15) is hereby created in the
Division of Automotive Equipment and Motor Pool of'the
Department of Public Works and that the Chakriman and.
Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors, with the
approval of the Board of Supervisors, is authorized to
fill said position of Garage Foreman in accordance with
the rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission
and to pay to the employee selected compensation as
provided by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the salary ordinance
is next amended, the position hereinabove created be
incorporated therein; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be directed
to forward a copy each of.this resolution to the Departments
of Public Works, County Chairman, Civil Service, County
Auditor and County Attorney for their information.
