COUNTY OF HAWAII TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 154
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 35, the Public Works
Committee has recommended the creation of a new position
of Carpenter-Helper (SR-7) in the Bureau of Building
Construction and Inspection of the Department of Public
Works in the North Hilo and,Hamakua Districts Section
8.21 (c),;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawaii that the new position
of Carpenter-Helper (SR-7) is hereby created in the Bureau
of Building Construction and Inspection of the Department
of Public Works in the North Hilo and Hamakua Districts
Section 8.21 (c)' and that the Chairman and Executive
Officer of the Board of Supervisors, with the approval
of the Board of Supervisors, is authorized to fill said
position of Carpenter-Helper in accordance with the rules
and regulations of the Civil Service Commission and to
pay to the employee selected compensation as provided by
law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the salary ordinance
is next amended, the position hereinabove created be
incorporated therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be directed
to forward a copy. each of-this resolution to the Departments
of Public Works, County Chairman, Civil Service, County
Auditor and County Attorney for their information.
