COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 161
WHEREAS, Section 3 of Act 255, S.L.H. 1959 amends
the salary schedule, applicable to government employees
who are subject to the classification laws, effective
July 1, 1959; and
WHEREAS, Section 4 of said Act 255 appropriates a
certain sum of money to pay the increase in compensation
as provided by Section 3 thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD,OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawaii that the new salary
schedule provided by Section 3 of Act 255, S.L.H. 1959
be and is hereby incorporated in the Salary Ordinance of
the County of Hawaii, effective July 1, 1959, and that
the employees, subject to the provisions thereof, be paid
the new compensation provided by the salary schedule when
money is made available to the County of Hawaii pursuant
to Section 4 of said Act 255.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk is
hereby instructed to send a copy of this resolution to
the Departments of Civil Service, County Auditor and
County Attorney for their information.
