COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 181
WHEREAS, the waters in Hilo Bay continue to be
contaminated by sewage seepage and disposal; and
WHEREAS, it is most desirable that steps be taken
to alleviate the increasing contamination of said waters
in Hilo Bay,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the
Department of Health, Territory of Hawaii, be and is
hereby requested to give their recommendations and for
their aid in the alleviation of the contamination of
Hilo Bay.
BE IT TURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this
resolution be sent to the Department of Health,
Territory of Hawaii, Honorable William F. Quinn,
Governor, Territory of Hawaii and to Mr. Shinji Soneda,
Sanitary Engineer and Acting Administrative Officer,
Hawaii. -
