COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION PC. 185
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8(a), Act 150 of
the Session Laws of Hawaii 1957, the sum of $30,000.00
has been allotted by the Governor of the Territory of
Hawaii for the purpose of developing the unimproved
portion of the Kapiolani School grounds; and
WHEREAS, said allotment (being Appropriation
Symbol B-6155, Allotment Symbol B-6155) is conditioned
upon being in part matched by Territorial General
Obligation Bond Funds authorized by Section 6, Act 273,
Session Laws of Hawaii 1955, in the amount of $15,000.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the
Honorable Paul J. Thurston, Chairman of the Committee on
Priorities and Director of the Bureau of the Budget,
Territory of Hawaii; Honorable Kam Tai Lee, Treasurer,
Territory of Hawaii; Honorable Michael Miyake, Comptroller,
Territory of Hawaii; and the Honorable Tim Ho, Superintendent
of Public Works, Territory of Hawaii, be and are hereby
respectfully requested to exercise the good powers of
their offices to make the sum of $15,000.00 available for
the purposes hereinabove described.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County
of Hawaii is hereby authorized and directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to the Honorable Paul J. Thurston,
Chairman of the Committee on Priorities and Director of
the Bureau of the Budget, Territory of Hawaii; Honorable

Kam Tai Lee, Treasurer, Territory of Hawaii; Honorable
Michael Miyake, Comptroller, Territory of Hawaii and to
the Honorable Tim Ho, Superintendent of Public Works,
Territory of Hawaii.
