COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 459
ABANDONMENT OF OLD ROAD REMNANT SITUATED AT NORTH KONA
HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the construction of a portion of the
Hawaii Belt Road in North Kona, Hawaii has caused a
portion of the old Mamalahoa Highway to lie between
the new road:and abutting property owners; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the County of
Hawaii has no further.°use for the said portion of the
old Mamalahoa Highway hereinafter more fully described,
for road purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the
said remnants numbered R-19, R-20, R-21, R-23, R-2451
R-26, R-28, R-29, R-30, R-31, R-35, R-38, R-32, R-36 and'
R-37 of Hawaii Belt Road Project No. F 10(5) as delineated
on the Right-of-Way map for said project and made a part
hereof by reference be and the same is hereby declared
abandoned for road purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVER that.the County Clerk be and
.he is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy
~of this resolution to the Honorable Frank W. Hustace, Jr.,
Commi.ssioner of Public Lands of the Territory of Hawaii.
